To protect our members, all SMBC classifieds are intended strictly for in-person, local pickup in the Sarasota/Manatee area. Please follow these safety rules for every transaction:

Meet in a Public Location: Always meet buyers/sellers in a well-lit, high-traffic public spot or an official Police Station Safe Exchange Zone (e.g., Sarasota County Sheriff or Bradenton PD parking lots).
Cash or In-Person Digital Payment Only: Accept only Cash or instant transfers (Zelle, Venmo) completed face-to-face. Never accept checks or money orders—fake check overpayment is the most common marketplace scam.
No Shipping or Third-Party Pickups: Walk away from anyone claiming to be out-of-town, overseas, on military deployment, or sending a "courier/agent" to pick up the bike.
Protect Financial & Personal Details: Never share bank accounts, credit card numbers, or home addresses with buyers.
Verify Before Paying: Inspect the bike frame and components in person, and conduct a quick test ride in a safe area before handing over funds.

A rare piece of late 1980s American racing history! This limited-edition 1988 Cannondale Crest Team Replica features the iconic blue, red, and teal Crest Toothpaste team graphics paired with handcrafted USA aluminum construction and a custom blue stem.

Condition & History: This bike has been safely kept in climate-controlled storage for nearly 20 years. The frame and primary components are in remarkably well-preserved vintage condition. With fresh consumable updates—new bar tape, cables/housing, chain, brake pads, and tires—this classic machine is ready to return to peak road-worthy shape.
