I have worked with past boards to introduce a number of changes including the current Club Express Internet platform, the introduction of training programs, the partnership with Friends of the Legacy trail to co-sponsor Tour de Parks, and the new Amended and Restated Bylaws and the proposed Amended and restated Articles of Incorporation.  These two documents will lay to rest any past discrepancies in our documents.”

I was the treasurer of the Alexandria (VA) Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) where I helped establish a non-profit organization to raise funds for Bikes In The Schools (BITS). This brought a bicycle safety program to public schools in the city and teaches elementary school children how to ride safely. BPAC also successfully advocated to the city for both a Complete Streets program and a Vision Zero program to improve safety for everyone on the road. Most recently I have managed BPACs Facebook page.”

“In 2017 I was recruited to help Alexandria Families for Safe Streets (AFSS) establish a social media presence on Facebook and Twitter. AFSS is a new organization working to make streets safer for pedestrians and bicyclists. It was founded by a group of Alexandrians seriously injured in motor vehicle crashes, and family members of residents killed in crashes. AFSS is a member of a national organization, Families For Safe Streets.”

“From 2015-2018 I was a board member of the Virginia Bicycling Federation (VBF), a statewide organization promoting bicycle safety and tourism in Virginia.
