Jim Wheeler's Sunday Rides at a 14 to 16 Mph pace

Sunday rides offer great variety and afterward a bite of lunch.

This Sunday (9/2), Jim’s14-16 mph ride will leave from the Nokomis Community Park (234 Nippino Trl E, Nokomis) at 8:30. 
This is a scenic 36.4-mile ride partly along the Legacy and Venetian trails then local roads to and through Manasota Key. 
Sorry, but due to a forecast heavy east wind, we need to do this N/S ride (hope the red tide problem is moderate).

To get to the starting point, take I-75 south to Exit 200 (Highway 681) and go west to Highway 41south. Then travel S on Highway 41 into Nokomis. There’s only 1 traffic light in Nokomis, Colonial Lane. Turn left there and go to the second right (Nash Ave.) Turn right and go straight 1 block into the parking lot… we park in the south parking lot.
LUNCH: Please join the group for lunch after the ride at nearby Captain Eddie’s Seafood where we can sit in an outside area near our bikes.
