Annual Myakka River State Park Ride and Picnic



We meet at the pavilion near the river. Second right from the south entrance. The parking area is shown in the link below:

All rides start at 9:00 AM
Shorter rides may be within the park; longer rides go outside the park.

Following the rides enjoy a picnic lunch. Riders are asked to bring a salad, side or desert (see list below). 

  • if your last name ends in A-R Bring a side or salad
  • if you fall in the S-Z category, please bring a dessert

The SMBC Social Committee will provide the meat and vegetarian entrées bottled water and soft drinks.  There is no charge for the event, only entry fees into the park (see below).

Park Entrance Fees:

$6.00 per vehicle. Limit 2-8 people per vehicle.

$4.00 Single Occupant Vehicle.

$2.00 Pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers, passengers in vehicle with holder of Annual Individual Entrance Pass.
